Colonial Turned Newels are cost-effective and can vary slightly in size and shape. The 4810 Intermediate Pin Top 3″ Newel is great for stairways with long handrail going up steps. As a supporting newel, the 4810 is beloved because it can mount directly into a handrail. The top of the newel is 1″ in diameter. Simply drill a corresponding hole into your handrail, attach the newel, and enjoy the extra support for your railing system.

Mounting & Finishing Information
Turned Newels mount on a stair, landing tread, or floor using the Sure-Tite System. Finished Turned Newels will be coated with a Pre-catalyzed Lacquer to protect them against natural oils on skin.
