Mitered Handrail is mitered and jointed at a 45 degree angle on both ends. Use handrail brackets to attach to the wall.
6710 Prestige Handrail is 2 5/8” at its widest point & 2 3/4” at its tallest point. The 6710 profile is elegantly detailed. The proportions are perfect and it looks superb in any home.
Rarely, in some species joints will be necessary in longer handrails. Joints are always done with color and grain match as the priority.

How long is the short mitered ends
The returns come over sized so that you can cut them down to the length of whatever handrail bracket you choose. Depending on the type of handrail you order the return can vary in length from 3″ – 6″.

It is possible to get a length of 2 1/2 feet. The price is the same as that of a 3 foot handrail. You can order online by purchasing a 3 foot version, and then leaving your request for a 2 1/2 foot railing in the customer notes section at checkout. You can also call in to request the shorter handrail, and we’ll make sure to get it ordered correctly for you!
