This stair part is designed to terminate a handrail into the wall, like on a balcony railing with a secure and decorative finish (it is not designed to be used with wall mounted handrails). The 7038 Rosette is 4″ wide and 6 1/2″ tall. The rosette pairs well with all wood handrail profiles and iron balusters.

What is depth of rosette?

how do you secure the rosette to the wall?
Thank you for asking, Gary. We would suggest using construction adhesive followed by using a wood screw, making certain you are able to secure it into the wall stud.
Is this a solid piece or is it designed to slip over the newel?
