With a unique shape and small space for a staircase, this modern home needed a custom built system to perfectly match the area. A FLIGHT system with Vedera railing was custom engineered and manufactured to fit without obstructing the floor to ceiling windows. For both the Vedera and Base Rail glass railing, no cap rail was used on the glass, which makes for an extremely minimalistic railing. In order to pass code, a wall mounted handrail was attached to the wall, providing a sturdy support. The homeowners chose White Oak treads and stained them on site to match their flooring, tying the whole project together.
