Project #332
This Cape Cod styled home was built right up on the water of Cape May. The architecture of the structure makes use of the multiple decks and balconies to help open up the space and make the most of the its beautiful setting. Since the house is right up on the ocean, the railings and stairs needed to be durable. The Aluminum posts and Stainless Steel stringer tube are finished with a Fluoropolymer Fashion Gray powder coat which is specifically designed for coastal environments. Constructed from 2205 Stainless Steel, the tensioned 1/4″ diameter rods provide an infill solution for extreme coastal settings. Finally, each thick tread is constructed from thermally treated Endurance hardwood, and utilize a bolt together design that eliminates any need for wood glue outside.
