Product Description

With gentle curves and grooves, the Colonial Turned Newels support your stair railing while providing early-American charm. Colonial Turned Newels are cost-effective and can vary slightly in size and shape. The 4013 Intermediate Pin Top 3″ Newel is great for stairways with long handrail going up steps. As a supporting newel, the 4013 is beloved because it can mount directly into a handrail. The 4013 newel is similar to the 4810, but has some minor design differences and stands at a shorter 42″. The top of the newel is 1″ in diameter, so it’s compatible with any of our wood handrail profiles. Simply drill a corresponding hole into your handrail and enjoy the extra support the newel provides for your system.

Key Features:

  • 24″ long pin top section
  • 11″ mounting block section
  • 7″ portion with curves and grooves
  • 42″ height

Mounting & Finishing Information
