Product Description

Victorian Series Turned Newels feature decorative twists that provide your home with a sophisticated style. The 4442 Rope Twisted 3 ¼” Newel is a customer favorite due to its classic appearance that’s maintained popularity over time. This turned newel is available in all four top designs: mushroom, ball, acorn, and teardrop. The 4442 Rope Twisted 3 1/4″ Newel is an elegant starting and ending point for any stairway.

  • Pin top that connects to handrail fittings
  • 42” or 48” standard heights

Mounting & Finishing Information

Turned Newels mount on a stair, landing tread, or floor using the Sure-Tite System. Finished Turned Newels will be coated with a Pre-catalyzed Lacquer to protect them against natural oils on skin.

    Can you give the length of square portion on bottom of newel

    The bottom block on this newel is 19″ long.
