Product Description

The Hampton Series is the foundation of the turned newel industry. Incorporating rectangular blocking and elegant curves, Hampton Series Newels have the traditional design that customers have loved for generations. The 4570 Long Block 3 1/4″ Newel is no exception. Designed to help you transition from a stairway to a landing, the 4570 has a classic beauty that’s passed all tests of time. The 4570 newel is available with any of our four decorative tops: mushroom, teardrop, acorn, and ball. Though its standard height is 54″, we are able to manufacture it in 42″ and 48″ heights.

Mounting & Finishing Information

Use the Sure-Tite System to mount turned newels to a stair, landing tread, or floor. Turned newels that are finished have a pre-catalyzed lacquer that is resistant to oils present on skin. That means they can easily hold up to common use and touch.

    Do you happen to know what finish the sample is treated with in the first photo? My stairs seem to resemble that color the most. Thank you.
