Product Description

Regency Series Newels have graceful curves that dip inward in an hourglass-like fashion. This gentle elegance makes the Regency Series popular for open stairways looking for decorative newels to show off. The 5175 Long Block Fluted 3 ¼” Newel has an elaborate design that includes any of our four decorative tops: mushroom, teardrop, acorn, or ball. The long block makes this turned newel ideal as an intermediate post for landings, or a second-floor post where you terminate your handrail. The 5175 also includes elegant fluting to enhance the beauty of your stairway.

Key Features:

  • 15” hourglass shaped curve with fluting
  • 12 1/2” top block
  • 5” finishing top
  • 8” decorative section above the mounting block
  • 54” height

Mounting & Finishing Information

Turned Newels mount on a stair, landing tread, or floor using the Sure-Tite System. Finished Turned Newels will be coated with a Pre-catalyzed Lacquer to protect them against natural oils on skin.

Hi Hugh,
Unfortunately we don’t have any CAD or DWG files for any of our turned newels. It’s something we’re working on adding, but haven’t done it yet.
