Product Description

Level Quarter Turns are attached to both ends of the handrail. Use handrail brackets to attach your handrail to the wall.

The proper manufacturing process for this part calls for some color and grain variation between the handrail piece and the level quarter turn pieces on the ends (view additional images on the left for example).

6610 Prestige Code Handrail is 2” at its widest point & 2 3/4” at its tallest point. The 6610 meets the 2″ width requirement for stringent interpretation of stairway codes with graceful lines, which makes the 6610 as functional as it is beautiful.

Rarely, in some species joints will be necessary in longer handrails. Joints are always done with color and grain match as the priority.

Wood Grain & Color Variation

At StairSuppliesTM we strive to match the grain and color of all of our wood products as closely as possible. However, due to the natural character of wood products, there may be instances in which a perfect grain and color match is not possible. By ordering from StairSuppliesTM, you acknowledge that there may be some variation in the grain and color of your wood products.

What is the distance between the end of the return and the centerline of the rail? Is it intended that the returns ends be trimmed to the appropriate length to accommodate the stand off distance for the selected bracket?

Thank you for your question, Wayne. When producing the Level Quarter Turn Handrail, we will leave the returned end longer than what is typically required for proper installation. Indeed, it is designed to be trimmed on site for proper installation based on the brackets used.
