what size plug should i use
It depends on the application. For a Sure-Tite you need to order the 1 1/2″ plug, for a Rail Bolt Kit you need a 1″ plug.
What is the depth of these plugs? Do are they tapered to fit the 1″ hole created for the rail bolt?
Andrew, The depth of the plug is not less than 1/4″. They are not tapered.
The image shows three plugs; how many plugs do you receive when you put in a quantity of 1? Do you get three or one plug?

It’s hard to see the darker colors. Are the two darkest cherry & expresso? If so, which is which? Also, do you have button plugs. I prefer the rounded variety.

If you’re looking for our darkest stains, you’d likely be interested in our LV-0027 stain for Red & White Oak. Unfortunately, we do not have button plugs, only the flush-sitting, press-in style.
